Don Lee Farms is a California-based industry-leading manufacturer and co-packer of high-quality fully cooked fresh and frozen food products. We produce an assortment of beef, pork, turkey, chicken, vegetarian, and vegan food products for club stores, markets, restaurants, and schools nationwide. These products are available under the Don Lee Farms label, private brands, and under brands of our partners.

Whether its glazed, seasoned, or simply grilled, Don Lee Farms has the capability of making thousands of delicious fresh or frozen food products with a wide array of cooking methods: from char-broilers, ovens, and fryers to kettles, grills, and fully automated corn dog machines. Don Lee Farms also operates a verity of proprietary breading systems, glazing systems, and continuous sandwich production lines. Products include angus steak burgers, glazed meatballs, individually wrapped sliders, sausage patties, corn dogs, and kettle-cooked soups.

Don Lee Farms is a third generation family-operated food business with beginnings in the late 1940’s. Larry, Donald Goodman’s father (President and CEO of Don Lee Farms), began hand delivering sandwiches out of his Ford Model A delivery truck after his service in the army during World War II. As a successful entrepreneur, Larry expanded using automated sandwich lines to produce thousands of frozen sandwiches a day. Larry was the first to introduce frozen sandwiches to retail markets and became one of only two manufacturers making cooked hamburger patties in the nation. Today, Don Lee Farms continues Larry’s tradition as a next-generation manufacturer and innovator of family favorite food products.

USDA selected Don Lee Farms’ state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for a voluntary processor-maintained control system and was approved by the USDA Food Safety Inspection Service as a Total Quality Control Plant. Our production facility operates under HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) and SSOP (Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures). Our facility is a designated training site for USDA’s AMS graders (Agricultural Marketing Service). Although not required by any regulation, Don Lee Farms employees a large independent quality assurance staff who perform redundant and overlapping quality assurance checks including weights, temperatures, formulation, organo-oleptic, metal, and bone detection. Thousands of samples are sent each year to an independent laboratory for microbiological testing.

Don Lee Farms evaluates its environmental impact throughout the entire life cycle of its products - from raw materials, processing, manufacture and distribution to disposal and recycling. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact through policies regulating raw material and product recycling. We encourage the production of biodiesel fuel using manufacturing byproducts (vegetable oil). Don Lee Farms is dedicated to operating a clean, safe, and energy-efficient manufacturing facility, and works to comply and overwhelmingly exceed community, state and federal standards.
